Where can you get a job running a press brake…. everywhere! If your good so will the pay be.
If you are a truly qualified operator/technician you will never go without work. I’m not talking warm body operation; there’s even lots of those jobs. Look at a setup sheet, download a program and load some tooling doesn’t make you a qualified operator/technician. It makes you a warm bodied peddle pusher.
A qualified technician understands the processes, methods, mathematics, tooling and the press itself you will have no problem attaining work; and good paying work at that; if your skilled.
Take in training at you local community college or trade school, attend one of my FMA press brake certificate programs through the FMA, or have someone like myself in for some hands on in-house training.
